Trump will continue to use Truth Social despite Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter.

Former President Donald Trump expressed its best wishes for Elon Musk on Twitter but emphasized that he will continue to use his own social media network, Truth Social, which he describes as “better,” “safe,” and “like home.”

Musk completed the $44 billion purchase of Twitter on Thursday, tweeting “the bird is liberated” just before midnight and changing his title to “Chief Twit” in his biography.

I admire Elon and I wish him a lot of luck, Trump said in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Friday. I’m hoping he succeeds with it.

Trump continued, “I don’t think Twitter can be successful without me,” but his account would theoretically be operational if Musk were to reverse his lifetime ban. Regarding whether he would ever use it again, Trump chose not to say.

Trump told Fox News Digital that the new policy won’t change how he uses social media, despite Musk’s suggestion that he would relax Twitter’s content control policies and do away with lifetime bans.

“I’m sticking to the truth.” He said to Fox News Digital, “I like it better, I like how it works, I like Elon, but I’m remaining on Truth.

Following the riot on January 6, 2021, Trump was permanently banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Many of his tweets on the violent protests were flagged by Twitter as inciting violence and they issued a warning about “the possibility of future incitement of violence.”

Given “how poorly these platforms are doing,” Trump claimed that “terminating” him from Facebook, Twitter, and other social media corporations in 2021 was “one of the worst financial decisions made in the previous two years.”

Facebook is currently down $80 billion and dull, according to Trump. Twitter has been taken over, and it would never have happened if it weren’t for me. Nobody would have given it a second thought.

When Trump started using Twitter, it was “a failed enterprise,” he said in an interview with Fox News Digital.
He claimed, “I made Twitter hot 12 years ago, I made Twitter hot.” “And then they terminated, and that’s what occurred,” they continued.

Trump claimed that “engagements are significantly down and everything else since I left,” pointing to Twitter and Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Inc.’s decline in stock price, which reached its lowest level since February 2016.

And if you recall, Twitter was a failed business twelve years ago, he added. “Everything wasn’t until I got going that it really took off.”
