On Wednesday, former Vice President Mike Pence hinted that if former President Donald Trump wins the GOP nomination, he would not back him in the 2020 election.
After speaking at Georgetown University, a student asked Pence if he would support Trump if he were to win the Republican nomination in 2024.
He smirked and replied, “Well, there might be someone else I prefer more.”
Pence assured the student that he had faith in the party to choose its next leader.
