Meghan Markle’s ‘Deal or No Deal’ claims of being ‘objectified’ are criticized by former briefcase models: A bra-free zone

For claiming to have felt “objectified” while working as a briefcase model on “Deal or No Deal,” Meghan Markle has come under fire.

The Duchess of Sussex received criticism from the media as well as criticism from former models of the well-known game show for claiming that they were treated like “bimbos” at work.

Everyone who auditioned, volunteered, and accepted a role on the show was aware of their character’s image and their role. Her experience is not at all mine. Former “Deal or No Deal” model Patricia Kara told Fox News Digital, “I never felt objectified.”

In an interview with Paris Hilton on her podcast “Archetypes,” Markle reflected on her time spent modeling briefcases.

“I eventually left the program…” I was much more than the objectification taking place on stage. Markle said, “I didn’t enjoy feeling compelled to be all looks and little substance.

Kara, Markle’s former coworker, claimed she does not recall ever feeling that way while at work, despite Markle coming out about her “Deal or No Deal” experience.

The Duchess of Sussex continued to discuss the preparation for the game show on her podcast, revealing that there were many beauty stations, one of which allowed you to “put padding in your bra.”

The padding station is a fabrication. That never existed during the entire time I worked on the show, Kara argued to Fox News Digital.
Another former “Deal or No Deal” contestant supported Kara and said that she had not at all been “handled like a bimbo.”

Donna Feldman told Fox News Digital, “Instead of ever feeling like a bimbo, I felt… working alongside such beautiful people like Howie Mandel would only lead to larger and better things for me.”

Feldman went on to remark that it wasn’t simply her “beauty” that had gotten her the job, but also her “positive disposition,” “overall work ethic,” and personality.
