Following Ime Udoka’s season-long suspension, the Celtics are 2-0.

The Boston Celtics, who are the current Eastern Conference champions, are looking to build on a season in which they made it to their first NBA Finals since the 2010 campaign.

Many people regarded the Celtics as the betting favorites to make it to the NBA Finals for back-to-back seasons after the team added a number of players in the offseason who theoretically make Boston better.

Then a scandal broke, shaking the company to its very foundation.
Losing to the Clippers and dropping their second straight game to begin the season, the Lakers’ shooting woes continue.

Ime Udoka, the squad’s head coach, was given a season-long suspension by the group in September for “violations of team policies” following reports that he had an intimate relationship with a female employee.

Joe Mazzula, an assistant coach, was appointed interim head coach, and nobody was entirely sure what to anticipate from the 2022–2023 Celtics.
After two games, the solution has become rather obvious.
After defeating the Miami Heat 111-104 on the road on Friday night, the Boston Celtics improved to 2-0 on the year.
Following Ben Simmons’ Brooklyn debut, NETS’ Kyrie Irving said, “FOULING OUT IS NOT AN OPTION.”

After combining for 70 points against the Philadelphia 76ers on opening night, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown kept up their impressive start to the year by scoring 57 points in total.

We have a wonderful squad, but we’re still getting to know one another, Tatum added. I also enjoy competing against the Heat. They push you because of the past few years’ history here. They improve your team dynamic. They have a fantastic coach, a lot of excellent players, and a lot of fire.

With 7:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Celtics had a 14-point advantage and had limited Miami to 30.8% shooting from outside the arc.
With 4:12 remaining in the game, the Heat reduced the advantage to five points before Tatum hit two straight baskets to seal the victory.
