This week, a stand-up routine in a comedy club in New Jersey went viral after a viewer tossed a drink at the comedian during what quickly devolved into a political argument.
Last weekend, a rowdy patron at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, stopped comedian Ariel Elias’ show and asked her if she “voted for Donald Trump,” WNYW-TV reported .
I’m the only Jew in this room, so why would you ask me that? Elias answered. “Are you attempting to kill me?”
Elias instructed the audience to “vote for anybody you want” and informed the customer that she resides in New York where her vote “doesn’t matter.”

The buyer exclaimed, “So you voted for Biden!”
“I’m not sure why it matters,” Elias inquired, to which the client replied, “Yes, you did!”
Yes, but so what? said Elias. Why is it important?
The patron admitted to Elias that she supported the present president as seen by the jokes she tells.

The two continued to argue until Elias tried to move on and carry on with her stand-up routine.
A beer can was observed hurtling through the audience toward the stage before colliding with the brick wall behind Elias as she started reciting a joke. According to reports, the male companion of the female heckler was the one who threw the drink.
A man could be heard in the distance shouting, “Come on, you can’t do that,” as another man exclaimed, “Are you f—-ing kidding me?”

The audience cheered when Elias took up the can and chugged the remainder.
When a patron speculated that Elias might have been gravely injured, the comedy club responded on Twitter: “That’s why we are pressing charges utterly inappropriate.”
